Exhausts trapped heat
A garage fan pushes out the hot air that builds up under the door and roof, dropping the temperature so the space is bearable to be in.
Garages trap heat, humidity, and fumes like nowhere else in the house. A properly installed garage fan flushes that air out — so your workshop stays usable and the heat stops creeping into your home.

Why It Matters
A garage is built to be sealed up, not ventilated — so it bakes. Sun on the door and roof, heat radiating off a just-parked car, and no airflow turn it into the hottest, stuffiest space on the property, where humidity, exhaust, and chemical fumes have nowhere to go. If you use the garage as a workshop, gym, or storage, that's a real problem.
A garage fan fixes it by exhausting the hot, stale air and pulling in cooler outside air, so the space stays workable and the fumes clear out. For an attached garage there's a bonus: flushing that heat keeps it from seeping through the shared wall into your living space. It's the same fan-installation know-how behind our attic fan and whole house fan work — applied to the space that needs it most.
How It Helps
It's straightforward ventilation for a space that badly needs it — here's what that delivers.
A garage fan pushes out the hot air that builds up under the door and roof, dropping the temperature so the space is bearable to be in.
Car exhaust, gas, paint, and chemical fumes collect in a closed garage — a fan vents them out instead of letting them linger.
Moving air out reduces the damp, muggy feel that leads to musty smells, rust on tools, and mildew on stored items.
If you work, wrench, or work out in the garage, ventilation is the difference between a usable space and a sweatbox.
For attached garages, flushing the heat keeps it from radiating through the shared wall and warming the rooms next to it.
We install wall- or gable-mounted exhaust fans and can set them on a thermostat or switch so they run when the garage needs it.
Do You Need One?
If any of these sound like your garage, ventilation will make it a far more usable — and comfortable — space.
You use it as a workshop or gym
Any time you spend working, building, or exercising in the garage, the trapped heat and stuffy air make a fan well worth it.
It's an oven in summer
If the garage is unbearable to step into on a warm afternoon, that's heat with nowhere to escape — exactly what a fan fixes.
Parked cars radiate heat
A hot engine and sun-baked car pumping heat into a closed garage keep it warm long after you've pulled in.
Stored items are degrading
Heat and humidity warp, melt, or ruin paint, adhesives, electronics, and other heat-sensitive items stored in the garage.
Fumes or musty smells linger
Exhaust, gas, paint, or a persistent musty odor that won't clear means the air isn't moving and needs to be vented.
It shares a wall with the house
An attached garage that bakes pushes heat into the adjoining rooms — venting it helps keep the house comfortable too.
How We Work
A garage fan performs when it's sized and placed to actually move the air. Here's how we handle every install.
We look at your garage's size, layout, and where air can come in and out, and confirm the best fan type and mounting spot.
We calculate the airflow the space needs and recommend the right exhaust fan — wall- or gable-mounted — for effective ventilation.
We cut and frame the opening cleanly and mount the fan securely, sealing it against leaks and weather.
We wire the fan and install the control — a switch or a thermostat — and make sure there's enough intake for it to draw air.
We confirm it moves air and runs quietly, clean up, and show you how to run it for the best results.

Real Customers, Real Results
Finding out we had a rodent infestation for the first time was incredibly stressful, but Attic Pros made the entire process so much easier! Jeremy was very knowledgeable when help preparing the estimate and the work that needed to be done. Their team that came to perform the work—Nico Otten, Juan Rodriguez, and Antonio Lopez—were amazing from start to finish. Communication was fantastic right from the beginning. The crew was super fast, highly efficient, and left everything very clean after sanitizing our attic, crawl space, and garage. They definitely gave us total peace of mind. They were also able to finish in one day!!
Our small cottage has a very narrow attic entrance. Denis from Attic Pros was willing to try and was able to enter to clean, vacuum, and replace the old insulation. Very professional, access areas were well shielded and protected. Powerful vacuum and clean up well after themselves.
Tom Best came to our house to give us an estimate on new insulation. He was on time, very thorough and provided a detailed very reasonable estimate within an hour of his visit. What more could you want?
Samim great service my attic was left very clean meticulous. I am so happy with the work that him and his team did great service. I recommend them highly. I would give them a 10 if I could.
David from Attic Pros was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He clearly explained the extent of our rodent problem in the attic and showed us detailed photos and videos so we could fully understand the damage. He took the time to explain exactly what the rodents had caused and walked us through how the repairs would be completed. David was friendly, patient, and easy to talk to, making the entire process much less stressful. We really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.
We cannot say enough good things about Attic Pros! From start to finish, it was a great experience. We initially called for attic, crawl space and duct cleaning, as well as rodent proofing (sealing vents, etc). Samim came out and did a very thorough evaluation, showing us dozens of photos of areas that needed attention. He also recommended new insulation, which we hadn’t considered and told us our dryer vent needed repair. It took us a few weeks to schedule, during which time Samim followed up periodically, never pushy, always answering our questions and providing more info. His professionalism and knowledge was a huge reason why we chose to work with Attic Pros. On the day of the job, Osman and crew cleaned the attic and crawl space and installed new installation, while Douglas repaired the dryer vent and Kevin cleaned the ducts. They did an amazing job sealing off the work areas and keeping the house clean, despite it being very messy and grueling work! They spent about 3 hours vacuuming the attic and another half a day sweeping the crawl space by hand. Their attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. We were sooo impressed! And Samim’s recommendations were spot on - our dryer is much more efficient now and we noticed the house was cooler within hours of the new insulation being installed (it was the height of summer). We’d use and recommend them again and again!
